Forest for the Trees

Question, have you every had someone in your life that can't see the forest for the trees. They say something to you and u can't believe they said it? So you are listening to them and in the back of your mind you are like please don't tell this to anyone else. I just realized that sometimes you may see beyond the trees and the forest but the person on the journey can use your eye's to see where they are going? Sometimes you can't help everyone and they need to talk wrong paths to learn. It really hurts when you care about that person. Then to take the cake u realize that they don't have a mind of their own and will follow anyone who will lead them. They rather hear what they want to hear, rather than the truth. Life lesson are hard but in the end I find that you have to let go and let God. Just a couple of thoughts that came to mind while at work.

It is not enough to simply hear the Word of God; you must also take action to be a doer of the Word. The best action you can take is to love others. Love will always line up with God's Word and usher you into the place of overflow.

What you do every day develops the habits in your life. They are based on the words you hear, your thinking, emotions and actions. Whether good or bad, habits determine your level of success. To live in God's abundance, you have to develop good habits that are based on the Word of God. Also, you must do some practical things so that you can obtain God's promises.

The Importance of Walking in Character
There are steps you must follow to reach your destination of living life in abundance, to the full, until it overflows. If you have arrived at a destination that you don't like, stop, back up and start over with the Word of God. With the Word as your foundation, you will be able to change your thinking, emotions, decisions, actions, habits and character, which will bring you to God's destination for your life.

A Family Reunion

We have gathered today from all over the world to celebrate what we call family. Family Reunions are a very important tradition that we must keep alive. Mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, grand mother, grand fathers, and in laws are the people that we call family. The word family has many definitions to many different people. To me this family represents unconditional love, compromise, understanding, and endurance. I have been in this family for twenty-one years and in those years this family has set a perfect example of how a family should be. We have cried together at funerals and have been each other’s backbone when we felt that we could no longer stand. We have rejoiced at weddings and at births of yet another extension of our family. We have given tough love when needed, even though at the time it seemed too hard to handle, but we made it through. We have supported the young and encouraged the elderly. Advice is always at hand even though sometimes we do not ask for it or even want it. Family is the fabric of America. Unfortunately the fabric has been frayed and torn at all edges. This family is a symbol of hope; hope that there is still a chance for families to be what they were meant to be. I am not saying that this family is perfect and that it does not have problems. But, what makes this family different is that we work through our problems and we do not let them tear us apart. God has always been the center of our family’s success. We believe that we should thank God for all things. Without God in our family, I think that we would be like a ham sandwich without mayonnaise, mighty dry. So at this family reunion let’s remember the ones that have already passed, but have let a life long impression in our hearts, and who has set the foundation of our family. Let’s talk to the elderly and get all the wisdom that they can give. Let’s talk to the young and encourage them to follow their dreams. Let’s play and have a good time. Let’s eat and eat and eat and take plate home so you can eat again. Last but not least, let’s thank God for the chance to get together with family one more time for a family reunion.

For weeks I walked around like a chicken with my head detached. You know it’s kind of takes a while to adjust from being totally dedicated to someone for years. Assuming that you’re doing the right things in life; and then to awake one day to realize you that have wasted another 10 years of your life. This being the second time around for me and mine I was devastated.

CHOOSING LIFE

I’m constantly dealing with the choices I make, whether good or bad I have to keep it moving. I don’t have time to dwell on my past mistake or time to waddle in the mess I sometimes make. I try to learn from each life lesson, so I won’t have to repeat wrong choices. You guys know I’m a very optimistic person (I think I’m nice lol) but a real friend told me yeah you nice but girl you have some ways about you!… ok AC I’m still working on my ways. So I look at life from a glass half full instead of half empty, we should always try to look at the bright side of things.

Choose life, Choose to live in spite of your position, sure life may have thrown you a curve or two. Its ok, take it as lesson learned and keep it moving.
The place where you find yourself right now is because of some decision or choice you made, but remember where you are right now is not the end of your life you just have to keeping dreaming, keep believing & keep moving.

Sometimes you just have to smile, pretend everything is okay, hold back the tears, and just walk away. You have to do many things you don’t want to do in life to get where you need to be. It seems as though you wait a lifetime to exhale, just to breathe again, remember that frustration and confusion usually precede growth, life is a gentle teacher. She will keep repeating the lesson until we learn. It is okay to become frustrated, confused or even angry. It is okay to walk away and allow the breakthrough to come. Then the choice comes when we have to choose to pick up the shattered pieces, move on with life, and live life to the fullest.
Never sacrifice your happiness for the sake of someone else
It is in the middle of misery that so much becomes clear. God is all-powerful and all knowing. Whenever you get an uneasy feeling stop right where you are and ask Jesus to take control. We can't control what comes through our minds, but we can control how long we dwell on it so let GOD stay on your mind the choice is yours. May God keep you and bless you….
