People & Purpose

People & Purpose

Sometimes people come into your life and you knowright away that they were meant to be there...to servesome sort of purpose, teach you a lesson or helpfigure out who you are or who you want to become. Younever know who these people may be but when youlock eyes with them; you know that very moment thatthey will affect your life in some profound way. Andsometimes things happen to you at the time that may seemhorrible, painful and unfair, but in reflection you realizethat without overcoming those obstacles you would havenever realized your potential, strength, will power orheart. Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happensby chance or by means of good luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheerstupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul.Without these small tests, life would be like a smoothlypaved, straight, flat road to nowhere. Safe &comfortable but; dull & utterly pointless. The people youmeet affect your life. The successes and downfallsthat you experience can create who you are, and thebad experiences can be learned from. In fact, theyare probably the most touching and important ones. Ifsomeone hurts you, betrays you or breaks yourheart, forgive them because they have helped you learn abouttrust and the importance of being cautious to whom youopen your heart to. If someone loves you, love themback unconditionally, not only because they love you,but because they are teaching you to love and openyour heart and eyes to little things. Make every daycount. Appreciate every moment and take from iteverything that you possibly can, for you may never be ableto experience it again. Talk to people you havenever talked to before, and actually listen. Letyourself fall in love, break free and set your sightshigh. Hold your head up because you have every rightto. Tell yourself you are a great individual andbelieve in yourself, for if you don't believe inyourself, no one else will believe in you. Create your ownlife and then go out and live it.
